BANKSTOWN SPORTS NEW $55M BUSINESS PROJECT TAKES SHAPE

Bankstown Sports Club, in conjunction with the project’s managing contractor, Paynter Dixon, has completed the structural phase of the new Flinders Centre Bankstown, with the $55 million project on schedule for a mid-2018 grand opening.

The roof of the nine-storey commercial tower was poured in November, marking the end of eight months of intense building works.

Work will now begin on the internal fit-out of the ground floor lobby and retail areas, levels 1 and 2 which have already been leased, and subject to Council approval, the open-air rooftop restaurant and bar.

Bankstown Sports Club CEO Mark Condi says it’s been incredible to watch the project take shape.

Flinders Centre will provide contemporary, efficient and sustainable A-grade office space, right in the heart of the Bankstown CBD, within easy walking distance of the main retail centre and all transport interchanges. Tenants and guests of the office tower will also have full access to the services and facilities of the adjacent Bankstown Sports Club, and Travelodge Hotel Bankstown.

Flinders Centre Bankstown is currently leasing levels 3 and above, aiming to attract businesses keen to branch out into western Sydney to grow their brand.

CBRE has already signed leases for UFC Gym and Flinders Centre Early Learning Centre.
