EVERI INTEGRATES ECASH INTO ITS FINTECH PORTFOLIO

In February, Everi Holdings Inc. (“Everi”) announced the acquisition of ecash Holdings Pty Ltd. (“ecash”), a privately owned, Australia-based developer and provider of innovative cash handling and financial payment solutions for the broader gaming industry. With this agreement, Everi bolstered its FinTech offerings in the United States, Australia, Asia, and Europe.

The products and technologies from ecash represent a strategic extension of Everi’s current suite of financial technology solutions. Within the FinTech segment, Everi is focused on improving gaming venue operational efficiencies and fulfilling regulatory compliance requirements for its customers, which includes products and services that facilitate convenient and secure cash and cashless financial transactions, self-service player loyalty tools and applications, as well as regulatory and intelligence software.

“The integration of ecash into our robust FinTech portfolio and ability to scale this complementary business represents a significant opportunity to further expand our leadership position in the space and further diversify the markets we serve,” said Darren Simmons, Everi’s Executive Vice President and FinTech Business Leader. “We also expect that several of our FinTech and RegTech products, such as our Trilogy™ Loyalty solutions and Anti-Money Laundering software, will have applicability and add value for Australian gaming operators.”

Everi will add several ecash products to its FinTech global product portfolio, such as: The Premium Cash Redemption Terminal (“CRT”), which delivers advanced payment technology with a stunning large edge-lit screen and elegant design, and the ecash Mini CRT, which offers a cost-effective redemption solution and provides an ultra-small footprint that maintains key gaming features designed to industry standards. Additional products include the ecash Minicashier Recyler family of products, that deliver an array of operator driven cashier and payment management solutions specifically designed for the gaming market.

“We are thrilled by the opportunity to join the gaming industry’s FinTech leader,” said Andre Soussa, Everi Managing Director, Australia. “By integrating ecash’s current products and markets with Everi’s offerings, we will be able to add value across a much wider range of clients, with a greater share of their business, and unlocking exciting new growth opportunities along the way.”
