IGT EXTENDS SUCCESS OF GO! FOR GRAND WITH A LINK OPTION
As the initial flurry of customers coming into venues starts to normalise once again, we are all looking for that winning edge on our gaming floor. Increasing revenue in gaming will become more and more focused on providing a point of difference, with games that ensure your regular customers keep returning to your venue.
Capitalising on the strong game performance across NSW and QLD of the Go for Grand SAP games, GO! for Grand – Power Charms and GO! for Grand – Golden Sombreros in the CrystalCurve-i machine, IGT have released a Go for Grand Link version that adds an extra top Grand Jackpot carrot to these already successful games. Along with the addition of a new game GO! for Grand – Outback Gold, the Link can now be introduced into the CrystalDual-i 27 machine.
The Go for Grand flexibility:
- Venues with the first two SAP games on the Crystal Curve-i can now move to the Link with the additional game providing a point of difference for regular customers
- Venues who haven’t been able to take advantage of the Go for Grand games due to extended lockdowns can now make a splash on their gaming floor with the new Link with 3 games available on the CrystalDual-i 27 machine
- A choice of a $10K, $20K or $40K Grand Jackpot startup on the Go for Grand Link will provide a market fit for clubs of all sizes
Go for Grand feature interest
The GO! For Grand games feature a boosted ‘hold and spin’ style game that can be unlocked to expand to four levels of playable windows, providing great excitement for the player and others seated nearby!
A player triggers the GO! for Grand feature with 6 gold coins, gaining 3 respins, and each time a gold coin lands the respin count resets.
When the player achieves 4 ‘GO!’ symbols, available on the gold coins during the feature, they unlock the window above and are paid all the prizes already accumulated. Players very quickly focus on gaining 4 ‘GO!’ symbols to gain access to extra levels, building excitement, anticipation and better chances for big wins.
As an additional option, players at the end of the feature can double tap the spin button to increase the speed of the feature payout animations to get back into the base game quickly. This is an important factor for sophisticated players if the Grand Jackpot is high and lots of players are active on the link.
The Go for Grand Link is all about a high game feature frequency and high volatility with excellent appeal to a more sophisticated gamer but will also allow the smaller gamer playing for time to stay in the game. A good Grand Jackpot amount will be a feature on any gaming floor.
New game: GO! for Grand – Outback Gold
The Australian themed new game Go! for Grand – Outback Gold offers the player a new free games feature. Triggered by 3 money bags, players can pick their game volatility by choosing the number of free games and Go symbols: 12 free games with 24 Go’s, 8 free games with 36 Go’s or 5 free games with 48 Go symbols. The higher number of Go! symbols increase the changes of triggering another hold and spin feature for the player.
Player Fit and Positioning:
All the Go for Grand Link games offer comfortable art themes to appeal to a wide range of player demographics with a Latin American theme in Golden Sombreros, a Celtic theme for Power Charms and the Aussie theme for Outback Gold.
These games are all high volatility games which will appeal to the more sophisticated gamer, however, the very high game feature hit rate will allow the smaller gamer playing for time to stay in the game longer with regular feature wins.
As a result of the combination of high volatility and high feature frequency, these games will allow gaming managers to use them in several areas on the gaming floor including high traffic mid floor areas indoors, and in any position in an outdoor gaming room.
The Grand Jackpot on the Link should be featured and visible across the gaming floor.
Game Performance
IGT have launched the Go for Grand Link in QLD and the performance results have been strong. The combined Odyssey and MAX venues, both clubs and pubs, are reporting the games are x 1.35 above the daily site turnover average.
Performance levels in NSW are expected to increase as NSW venues are able to have the all-important $2 denomination on the Go! for Grand games.
