Power Guardians – a new game series for the CrystalDual-i 27
Power Guardians is available as a SAP and LINK in NSW, QLD, NT and VIC, and as a SAP only in SA and TAS. Initially released with two games, Power Guardians – Heroes Honour and Power Guardians – Emperors Tale. A third game Power Guardians – Noble Strength is coming soon.
The games offer a new hold and respin feature where players can increase their feature prize with credit values that can grow up to 100 times their bet. All the Power Guardian games have a unique free game feature, with different volatility levels, but it is the common Power Guardian feature that players will be looking to trigger.
The Basics
Denomination: The Power Guardians games are multi-denomination games with 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c, and $1 in all states.
SAP Profile: When presented as a SAP game the Grand Jackpot start-up for Power Guardians is $5000 or $7000.
LINK Profile: On the Link version the choice is for a $10000 or $20000 Grand Jackpot start-up, providing an opportunity for venues to diversify their jackpot profiles.
The Games
Each of the games have different mathematical profiles and free games features. Importantly they also have different volatility levels aimed at separate player styles
- Heroes Honour has stacked wilds plus a red and yellow orb in every spin
- Emperors Tale has wild multipliers which increase throughout the feature
- A third game in the range to be released soon, Noble Strength, will have free games with a nudging wild
The Feature
The interesting point of difference for this IGT game series is the Power Guardians feature
The Power Guardians feature is triggered by 6 orbs, but these orbs come in different colours and have different powers.
- The yellow orbs are the standard with credit prizes displayed on each.
- The green orbs add extra credit prizes to all yellow orbs in the same row, boosting their value.
- The purple orbs add credit prizes to all yellow orbs in the same column.
- And the red power orb adds a credit prize to all yellow orbs on the screen.
During the feature the yellow orbs can have their credit prize values or bonuses boosted several times by the coloured orbs. Players are going to love watching their wins increase.

Player Fit and Positioning
With different game profiles and mathematical volatility levels, these games cover the interests of a wide range of players. While having some good advantages for the more sophisticated regular gamer, the high game feature hit rate will allow the gamer playing for entertainment to stay in the game longer with regular strong feature wins.
Gaming managers will be able to feature these games successfully in both high traffic mid floor areas of the gaming floor indoors, and in any position in an outdoor gaming room.
