AHG EXPO TO MARK MAJOR MILESTONE IN 2025
10 years since the first AHG Expo took place on the Gold Coast, the AHG Expo has transformed from humble beginnings to a cornerstone event on the Australasian hospitality and gaming industry calendar.
Whether you’ve been there since the start or are considering your first visit in 2025, the AHG Expo is gearing up to celebrate a decade of growth and industry innovation – and they want you there to celebrate with them.
Over the years, the Expo has hosted world-first product launches, competitive eSports tournaments and groundbreaking keynote presentations. Known not only as a showcase of hospitality and gaming advancements, but also for fostering essential business connections, the AHG Expo has cemented its reputation as a must-attend event for industry members at all levels – from the bar floor to the C-suite.
“It was important to bring as many of our team as possible along, so that everyone could check out the latest in technology across their specific area of expertise,” said 2024 Expo visitor Glenn Boston, manager of Stanthorpe RSL. “We’re on the hunt for the latest in catering equipment, coffee machines, gaming and payment services.”
Such is the beauty of the AHG Expo – it’s a one-stop destination for the latest industry innovations. From gaming technology to the newest trends in hospitality, if it’s worth knowing about, you’ll find it on the Expo floor.
“We travelled all the way up here for the AHG Expo,” said Warren Gooley, general manager of Tea Gardens Country Club, at the 2024 event. “It offers such a wide variety of ideas for our venue, all the latest in gaming machines, and also the latest advancements in industry technology – all under one roof.”
To celebrate 10 years since the first AHG Expo, the 2025 event is set to be bigger and better than ever. Though many details are under wraps (for now), visitors can expect to catch live product demonstrations, hear from industry experts and connect with business partners new and old in dedicated meeting spaces.
In a break from recent tradition, food and beverage exhibitors will be dispersed throughout the floor, making it easier to taste what’s on offer – without the need to venture to a specific area.
Visitors will also be excited to learn that the hugely popular cocktail competition will return in 2025. Presented in partnership with Diageo, the competition will expand nationally for the first time, opening to bartenders from pubs and clubs all over Australia. All finalists will win a VIP blending experience at the Bundaberg Rum distillery, including return flights, while the grand prize winner will also walk away with a $500 Visa gift card and a case of their unique rum blend (to serve in their own venue).
With so much to look forward to – and so many details yet to come – stay in the loop by following the AHG Expo on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Visitor registration is open now at www.ahgexpo.com, so sign up (for free) to ensure you don’t miss a thing.
