THE AUSTRALASIAN GAMING EXPO 2025 CONCLUDES WITH STRONG INDUSTRY TURNOUT
The Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) 2025 has officially wrapped, and what a week it was at ICC Sydney. Over three days, thousands of industry professionals came together to explore new technologies, hear from leading experts, and connect with peers and suppliers across the sector.
This year’s expo welcomed 217 exhibitors and recorded 7,960 total visits (6,392 unique visitors), just 301 visits fewer than 2024, a remarkable turnout given Sydney’s wet weather across the week.
On the Show Floor
From gaming technology to hospitality solutions, the expo floor once again proved to be the industry’s meeting place. Visitors discovered a wide array of products and services, with exhibitors ranging from long-time supporters to new names, including Cubic Promote, Royal Caribbean Cruises, and Evergreen.

Seminar Sessions – Insights That Matter
AGE’s seminar program drew strong attendance, offering practical guidance and thought-provoking conversations on the issues shaping the future of the industry.
Highlights included:
- Staying Ahead of the Curve: Regulatory Intervention – Leaders from Addisons, AUSTRAC, Bankstown Sports Group, and eBet Systems shared practical strategies for navigating tightening AML and CTF regulations.
- Designing for Success – BSPN Architecture, Donnelly Design, and PHaT Sourcing explored how interiors and layouts can reshape the guest experience.
- Women Driving Industry Change – A fitting closing session featuring leaders from Laundy Hotels, JLL Hotels, and The Nyngan, who spoke about diversity, leadership, and resilience in driving the sector forward.
Other standout sessions tackled cashless gaming technologies, workforce attraction and retention, economic trends affecting venues, and approaches to gambling harm minimisation—reinforcing AGE as a platform for education as much as innovation.

Networking That Counts
AGE 2025 also provided significant networking opportunities. A highlight was the Global Gaming Women’s Breakfast on Thursday morning, where industry leaders came together to share experiences, build connections, and inspire the next generation of women in gaming and hospitality.
Celebrating Excellence: AGE Awards
Excellence on the show floor was once again recognised through the AGE Stand Awards:
Best Shell Scheme Stand: Bitesize Group, for their creative stand design and visitor engagement.
Steve Cowan Memorial Award for Innovation: Simtech, for their pioneering work in LED display solutions for venues.
Both awards reflect the high calibre of exhibitors and the energy they bring to AGE each year.

Lucky Door Prizes & App Leaderboard
Adding to the excitement, AGE visitors had the chance to win three Royal Caribbean Cruises for two through the daily prize draw. Congratulations to the lucky winners!
The AGE mobile app kept delegates engaged throughout the week, with gamification driving activity on the show floor. Congratulations to Bosko from St George Leagues Club, who topped the leaderboard, winning a brand-new Apple iPad.
