WEST TAMWORTH LEAGUE CLUB: STAGE 1 COMPLETE
Paynter Dixon is proud to celebrate the successful completion of Stage 1 in the transformation of West Tamworth League Club (WTLC). This milestone marks the beginning of a bold new chapter for one of the New England region’s most iconic community hubs.
A Striking New Welcome
The club’s refreshed façade is now a bold statement of identity and intent. A sweeping curved porte cochere with skylight leads into a modern new entry, complemented by a sculptural water feature and lush greenwalls—an inviting blend of innovation and natural beauty.
Modern, Member-Focused Spaces
Inside, visitors are welcomed by an expansive new lobby and a dramatic 19m x 3.5m LED screen. A redesigned reception, bottle shop, and upgraded gaming zones all contribute to a seamless, elevated member experience—crafted with both comfort and function in mind.
Sustainability in Focus
Sustainability is at the core of the design. Solar panels have been relocated to the carpark’s top level, creating a dual-purpose structure that supports renewable energy and provides shelter for patrons—an elegant example of smart spatial planning.
Collaboration at Every Stage
From the outset, this project has been shaped by strong collaboration between the Club’s Board, management team, and local stakeholders. Our integrated design and construction model ensured the club remained operational, even during peak periods like the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Looking Ahead to Stage 2
With Stage 1 complete, focus has shifted to Stage 2: a continuation of the club’s evolution with a new Main Bar, Lounge, dining experiences, and upgraded function spaces. Together with WTLC, we’re proud to be creating a vibrant destination for locals and visitors alike.
