ARISTOCRAT’S CASH SPARK – IT’S LIKE 5 DRAGONS MEETS DRAGON LINK
Cash Spark is a new game family that adds an ‘X’ to Hold and Spin. In the Cash Spark games, Royal Spark and Magic Spark, the free games have been replaced with a new Hold and Spin X feature that is a combination of the popular 5 Dragons ‘choose your volatility’ option, with a traditional ‘Hold and Spin’ feature game. It’s like 5 Dragons meets Dragon Link!
Due to their strong presence on gaming floors across Australia, players are very comfortable with the line configuration, bet structures and game characters in Aristocrat games. If they were asked for the most well-known game feature, most players would confirm the ‘Hold and Spin’ and ‘choose your volatility’ games are the favourites. There is no learning curve here – players are already comfortable with these concepts, so the combination of the two makes perfect sense. Early results from the clubs and hotels that dived in first are proving that the combination of these favourite features is a popular one.
Two ways to trigger the Hold and Spin X feature:
The first way a player can trigger the Hold and Spin X feature is with just 3 scatters – and you know the players will enjoy that.
Players then have a choice of four features to play, ranging from 5 free spins with x4, x3 or x2 multipliers on each red Cash on Reel symbol landed, through to the high volatility option of 3 free spins multiplied by x8, x5, or x2 multipliers on each red Cash on Reel symbol landed. In the feature, players can land either white or red Cash on Reel scatters, with the multipliers only applying to the red ones.
If a player lands a castle during the feature, it will reveal a large Cash on Reel amount, a bonus prize, or a major jackpot.
The second way to trigger the Hold and Spin X feature is to land a crown symbol within the Hold and Spin feature. When the regular Hold and Spin feature ends, players then go into the Hold and Spin X feature to choose their volatility option as before.
Regardless of how a player gets into the feature, in these games the number of spins a player chooses corresponds to the number of spins required to reset the respin count. If a player chooses the 5 respins option, then the player has 5 respins to gain a Cash on Reel scatter and reset the spins back to 5.
Wilds
In both Cash Spark games there is a difference in the wilds in the base games. In Magic Spark any Wilds that land on the screen will expand to cover the reel. In Royal Spark there are big stacks of Wilds within the game.
The new Cash Spark games have been built on successful core game features with the new Hold and Spin X feature being a combination of the popular 5 Dragons ‘choose your volatility’ option, with a traditional ‘hold and spin’ feature game. With players needing only 3 scatters to enter the Hold and Spin X feature, and the combination of these favoured game features, Cash Spark is already proving to be a popular game choice for players.
