GAME ON: THE 2024 AHG EXPO IS ALMOST HERE
One of the Australasian hospitality and gaming industry’s premier events is getting set to return – and it has big shoes to fill.
The 2024 AHG Expo will be the first since last year’s record-breaking, history-making event, which drew record numbers and hosted many Expo firsts (including the largest ever lucky door prize, and the first live cocktail making competition).
So, what exactly will Expo look like in 2024? Here’s everything you need to know…
AHG Expo Week: What’s on
As usual, the 2024 AHG Expo will be the main attraction – but there are a few fun ancillary events taking place during Expo Week, too.
The AHG Congress kicks things off on Tuesday March 19. This one-day event will also take place at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. It’s program – which runs from 10am to 4pm – is studded with inspirational leaders and trailblazers, all taking the stage to tackle the hottest topics facing our industry. In short, the 2024 AHG Congress is not one to miss – bookings close Friday 15 March!
Then, to celebrate the conclusion of Day One of Expo, the AHG Cocktail Party kicks off at 4pm on Wednesday March 20. Free for exhibitors and visitors, this event is the perfect way to let off some steam, catch up with old friends and meet new ones – all over free-flowing bubbles, wine and beer, no less. It takes place right on the Expo floor, too.
A sneak peek at what’s to come…
We can’t give away too many trade secrets, but there is a lot to look forward to at the 2024 AHG Expo. Foodies should head straight to our dedicated food and beverage precinct, AHG Tastes, when they arrive at Expo – not just for the free samples, but to catch one of the live cooking demonstrations that will be taking place at the Mibrasa by Comcater stand. Chef Dean Fullard will be on the tools on the hour, every hour, across both days of Expo, demonstrating the unique features and flavours of charcoal cooking.
Other exhibitors – from equipment suppliers to tech innovators – will be bringing along new products to showcase. How could your venue benefit from automatic electric vehicle charging systems, or new transaction technology?
