HERD THE RUMBLE

In the North American market, Aristocrat’s Buffalo games are iconic amongst venues and players. So, it’s great to see the brand coming down under.

Aristocrat is introducing Buffalo Strike to Australia. This new game family comprises Shark Fury and Chun Jie, and each title has its own individual maths model. The games build on Aristocrat’s established Hold and Spin plus Repeat Win mechanic, where Gold Buffalos repeat all collected Cash on Reel prizes, while new Silver Buffalos elevate the experience by boosting Cash on Reel prizes. Cash on Reel values also remain visible throughout gameplay building, anticipation by giving players visibility of potential prizes before entering the Hold & Spin feature.

Buffalo Strike is launching on The Baron cabinet, with MarsX support to follow.

Hold and Spin Feature

The Hold and Spin feature is triggered by six Buffalo symbols. Once in the feature, Silver and Gold Buffalos can both appear. Gold Buffalos will trigger the Repeat Win, awarding all prizes collected on screen, while the Silver Buffalo randomly boosts between one and three Cash on Reel credit prizes. If both appear during the same reel spin, the Silver Buffalo plays out first.

Free Games

In both games, three Scatter symbols trigger six Free Games.

In Shark Fury, all Wild symbols carry a 2x multiplier, doubling the pay when a Wild substitutes as part of a line win.

Chun Jie only requires five Buffalo symbols to trigger the Hold and Spin feature and includes stacked Wilds in both the base game and Free Games.

 Configurations and Availability

The Buffalo Strike games will initially launch on The Baron cabinet, with Mars X support to follow which provides flexibility for gaming operators to get these new games on the floor. It is available in NSW and QLD as a 5K and 8K SAP, and as a Standard Link with $15,000 or $25,000 jackpot startups.

Multilink is available in NSW with $30,000 or $50,000 jackpot startups, and in Queensland with $25,000, $40,000 and $50,000 startups.

With high-volatility math models, distinct feature mechanics across the two titles and a range of link configurations, Buffalo Strike gives managers several options for different gaming floor requirements.

 Summary

Buffalo Strike combines a familiar Aristocrat presentation with a popular Hold and Spin plus Repeat Win feature, silver and gold buffalo prize boosts, and distinct free games features in both Shark Fury and Chun Jie.
