HOTEL HQ REOPENS TO REVEAL ITS TRANSFORMATION
Hotel HQ has reopened, welcoming guests back to a refreshed and revamped local favourite after extensive renovations. Located in the heart of Underwood in Brisbane, the beloved pub has undergone a thoughtful transformation that enhances its much-loved atmosphere while delivering updated spaces, new areas, and new reasons to visit throughout the week.
Prior to the renovation, Hotel HQ was a well-loved local with a loyal following, but it was time to enhance the experience for all guests. Every space has been thoughtfully redesigned to enhance comfort, flow and functionality, while staying true to the relaxed pub ambience the community loves.
“We are thrilled to be re-opening the doors to Hotel HQ. The bistro has been revamped and offers a spacious but warm, contemporary feel inside, as well as a brand-new alfresco dining area,” says venue manager Jessica Price. “The two new dedicated kids’ zones, one indoor and one outdoor, are sure to be a hit. Families are now able to come together, enjoy a meal and let the kids have fun in a safe, engaging space while the parents unwind.”
“Sports lovers will be pleased to hear that while the Sports Bar has been refreshed and the screens have been upgraded, the vibe is unchanged. Whether it’s footy finals, UFC or midweek games, everything’s live and loud. Hotel HQ really is a pub for everyone, and we are so looking forward to welcoming the community back and greeting both long-time and new guests.”
Along with the new spaces comes an all-new menu, which serves up a modern take on pub dining, while staying true to the classics and great value that locals know and love. There are generous portions, bold flavours and quality produce in the hearty, honest and affordable dishes – including a line-up of parmis that takes the pub classic to another level, stacked burgers and steaks, as well as plenty of share-friendly options. Those with a sweet tooth will not be able to resist the house-made Tiramisu. Kids and seniors are not forgotten with their own menus.

- Tuesdays – $25 Parmi Night, and Trivia from 6pm
- Wednesdays – $25 Steak Night, and free pool
- Thursdays – Musical Bingo from 6pm
- Fridays – Tradie Club from 3pm, Fishing Club Raffle from 4pm, and live music 8-10pm
- Sunday is family day – $25 Sunday roast and free kids’ entertainment from 12pm
To celebrate the all-new Hotel HQ, the community is invited to a jam-packed Locals Weekend Friday 18th to Sunday 20th July. There will be something for everyone, including live music, Tradie Club BBQ, kids’ entertainment and giveaways.
