IGT’s latest game series, the Cash Ching SAP game family – has just been released in NSW and will follow shortly in Queensland. There were many positive comments about the game range following the AGE Show in August from industry managers focusing on the benefits of a good high volatility game for regular players.
This game series takes the traditional respin mechanic to new heights, offering a unique repeat win opportunity within the hold and spin feature, and is the common element across all Cash Ching games. Understanding the Cash Ching Games – The Basics
The Cash Ching family comprises four game titles, each with its own unique math model in the free games and a common Cash Ching Repeat Win feature: Coral Reef and Jungle Spirit initially, followed closely by Fortune Beast, and The Great Battle. These games are high volatility games and will cater to the diverse preferences of most regular club and hotel players.

Cash Ching Hold and Spin Feature:
One common feature that ties all these games together is the Cash Ching Repeat Win feature. To trigger this feature, players only need to land five or more cash on reel symbols (similar to money balls) – a unique player benefit for games of this type where you normally need six symbols.
As soon as you land the five cash on reel symbols to trigger the feature, the five cash on reel amounts collect in the feature total, and those initial positions become repeat win positions for the future respins. Players are looking for three symbols during the Cash Ching feature, where any symbol that lands will reset the respin count to three.
When the Cash Ching symbol appears, a repeat win position will take that spot and continue through the remaining respins. Players quickly become focused on landing the Cash Ching symbol to increase their repeat win opportunities.
Every time a player lands a cash on reel symbol in the repeat win symbol position, it is collected in the feature total – increasing the players feature prize and giving them opportunities to land more cash on reel amounts in those positions. Players can also land cash on reel amounts outside of those repeat win positions, but these are held until the end of the feature and added to the feature total.
Players can also land Mini, Minor, Major, or Grand symbols in the respin feature, leading to additional bonuses and jackpots.
Unique Free Game Series in each Game:
Each of the games in the Cash Ching game family has a unique free game series:
- Jungle Spirit: In this game, landing three golden idol scatter symbols grants access to a nine free game series. When a ‘Jaguar Wild’ symbol lands on reels 2 to 5 the positions are highlighted with an overlaid ‘paw track’ symbol. In the final free game, all the highlighted positions transform into wild Jaguars to increase all the line wins.
- Coral Reef: Players must land three green sea turtles to unlock eight free games. During the free games any wild clam symbol that appears acts as a x2 multiplier, with the opportunity for players to win up to X 16.
- Fortune Beast: Fortune Beast offers players seven free games when three Chinese Coin symbols are landed. During each free game, the ‘Fortune Beast’ becomes a roaming stacked wild from reels 2 to 5 with up to four roaming stacked wilds per spin, enhancing the potential for significant wins.
- The Great Battle: Players need to land three ‘Admirals’ to trigger nine free games. During the free games players are aiming to collect ‘Battleship’ wild symbols on Reels 3, 4, and 5. An ‘arrow’ counter above the reel shows which reel has been activated by a battleship. Once all three reels are activated, a single Giant Wild Spin is awarded in addition to free games, covering reels 3, 4, and 5 as a block symbol. This Giant Wild Spin is granted whenever battle ships are collected during free games, so players could be awarded more than one.
Player Fit and Positioning:
The Cash Ching repeat win feature adds high volatility to the game and allows the players to land more cash on reel prizes during the respin feature than they are accustomed to and extend game play on the machines. The unique free game features in each game also gives players increased volatility and will boost their opportunity to extend their play in the free games feature also.
