THE DROP TEST DRIVES IGT’S EXTRA EXTRA CHANCE GAMES
IGT’s new Extra Extra Chance game series is available as both Link and SAP combining proven and popular player favourite games, Blue Moon II and Money Beans, with recognisable game features that players already enjoy, and some fresh new game titles, Arabian Jewels and Desert Spirit. However, IGT have also included additional feature elements, with a prize collection, similar to their Balloon series, where players drop prizes through a Plinko-style peg maze offering an opportunity to improve their prizes through additional credit prizes, multipliers and Mini, Minor or Major Jackpots.
The Basics
Cabinet:
Both the Link and SAP version of the Extra Extra Chance games are available for the PeakCurve49 cabinet.
Jackpot Profiles:
The Extra Extra Chance Link is IGT’s next O-Link compatible game family and the first available on the portrait cabinet; with all four games available with Grand Jackpot startup options $10,000, $15,000, and $25,000. Venues can choose a jackpot level that suits their players or add to existing O-Link installs, and these games will offer interest for a wide range of players from all tier levels. The familiarity of the game play will be an advantage.
Blue Moon II, Jewel of Arabia, and Money Beans are available in the SAP game range. The games have a choice of $5,000, and $7,500 Jackpots. As these games are medium-high volatility games the higher $7,500 jackpot should be the more effective choice.
Denomination range: The Extra Extra Chance game family is available as multidenomination games but only including 1c, 2c, 5c, and 10c options.
Free games features
In these games, unlike many other games in the market these days, there is still a strong importance placed on the free game features. It is these features that strengthened the popularity of the original games and IGT have kept their identity.
- In Blue Moon II and Arabian Jewels, players need 3 scatters to trigger the 20 free games. During the free games all line and scatter wins are tripled.
- In Money Beans and Desert Spirit, players need 3 scatters left-to-right to trigger 8 free games with expanding wilds in free games (and in the base game) to provide a chance to increase their line wins.
Extra Extra Chance Feature
During free game play, any prizes awarded accumulate as a coin on each spin and collect above the reel strips. Cash on reel prizes are overlaid as coins on the game symbols and collection of these is triggered by landing 6 or more on any spin. At the end of the free games, players hit the bash button to drop each of the collected coins through a Plinko-style peg maze and into tubes below that may improve prizes through additional credit prizes, multipliers and Mini, Minor or Major Jackpots.
Players can also trigger the Extra Extra Chance Feature directly from the base game by landing 6 or more coins overlaid during base game play.
Bonuses and progressive jackpots can also appear as coins on reels and are triggered the same way, with 6 or more coins. If players successfully land the Grand Chance coin as part of their feature trigger, they are awarded the Grand Jackpot or a special credit prize.
Player Fit and Positioning:
As medium-high volatility games the original free game series in these games will be popular among the regular lower-tier players and will allow middle to upper and upper tier level players an opportunity to improve their prizes. The Extra Extra Chance feature will give all players additional interest in the games.
With such wide appeal these games can be positioned in a high traffic central area of the main gaming floor, where your regular gamers like to sit.
The Extra Extra Chance Link and SAP games all include free game features that are popular among players. The free game features are well known for providing good wins in an easy-to-understand play format. The addition of the interesting and contemporary Extra Extra Chance feature will boost the enjoyment level for all players
