The Star Sydney is selling off its event centre including a 1400 seat venue, outdoor venues and corporate spaces to raise cash and continue operations. And NSW govt bans all gambling ads on public transport, including lotteries.

A class action has been filed against Sportsbet in Victoria, claiming its “Fast Code” live bets on in progress sporting events breaches gambling laws.

  1. NSW govt bans gambling ads on public transport

The NSW govt has banned gambling advertising on all Transport for NSW assets, including billboards buses, trams and trains. The ban includes casino, online betting and lottery advertising. It is expected to take 12 months to remove current advertising.
