It’s ‘tomb’ much fun: Mo’ Mummy lands in Australia

Product Overview

Aristocrat is bringing the proven international Mo’ Mummy game family to Australia, rebuilt from the ground up for the Australian market. Launching exclusively on The Baron the family features four titles: Mighty Pyramid, Pirate’s Plunder, Lucky Dynasty and Jungle Bucks.

The new ‘Win Zone’ mechanic – a big player favourite overseas – is triggered by six or more cash-on-reel symbols for a player experience that feels familiar. Once triggered, the Mummy moves around the reels collecting prizes, while the Win Zone grows from 1×1 all the way up to 5×5 for expanded opportunities.

Rather than simply porting the global game, the Australian version has been adapted to tailor the gameplay and volatility for our players. The interactive Mummy sits at the heart of the experience, creating a strong focal point as it moves, collects prizes and grows through the feature.

Combined with varied themes, volatility profiles and gameplay styles across the four titles, the family offers broad appeal across different player preferences.

Win Zone Feature

Mo’ Mummy is not a Hold and Spin game, but it uses a trigger players will recognise from this style of gameplay, which is six or more green diamond cash-on-reels.

The feature is played on a 5×5 reel array with a 1×1 Mummy Win Zone awarded initially. The Mummy will then move around the reels, collecting the green diamond cash-on-reel symbols. Each green diamond it collects goes into a diamond meter at the side of the screen.

When the meter fills with five diamonds, the Mummy grows to a 2×2 zone and five spins are awarded. Filling the meter again expands the zone to 3×3 with three more spins.

Filling it once more takes the zone to 4×4 with two more spins, and from there a final 5×5 zone can be reached with an extra spin. Once the Mummy reaches 5×5, one or two Chests may land, each awarding between three and eight cash-on-reel coins.

For players, the goal is to grow the Win Zone as quickly as possible. Green Diamond cash-on-reels are always awarded, but ‘Coin’ cash-on-reels are only paid when they land inside the Win Zone. The bigger the zone, the more ‘Coin’ cash-on-reel prizes the player can collect. This gives the feature a clear sense of progression, as every expansion increases what each spin can pay.

Both the Grand and Major Jackpots can also be won during the feature when a jackpot ‘green diamond’ symbol or a jackpot ‘coin’ cash-on-reel is collected.

Free Games

In all four games, three or more scatters trigger six free games. In Mighty Pyramid and Lucky Dynasty, split cash-on-reels may land during the free games, giving players another chance to trigger the Win Zone feature. In Jungle Bucks and Pirate’s Plunder, Gold Door Reveal symbols may land and reveal random game symbols.

Player Fit

The ‘Win Zone’ mechanic, where symbols are collected and the play area expands, suits players looking for a fun and exciting game. The mummy character adds entertainment to a medium-high volatility experience. With varied themes, volatility profiles and gameplay styles across the four titles, the family offers broad appeal across different player preferences.
