THE WORLD’S RICHEST COUNTRY RACE RETURNS TO RANDWICK
On October 19th, the world’s richest country race returns to Everest Day at Royal Randwick.
The Kosciuszko is the $1.3 million sprint giving NSW country trained horses the chance to compete during one the biggest days in Australian racing.
This year, with more than $14 million of prize money on offer, Everest Day will once again bring a dash of world-class racing to the 2019 Sydney Spring Racing Carnival.
To help celebrate the highly anticipated return of The Kosciuszko, Tabcorp (TAB) and Racing NSW have partnered to give punters the chance to get in on the action, like never before.
From Monday, July 1st punters will have the opportunity to own a part share in a horse for raceday!
All they need to do is purchase a $5.00 Kosciuszko ticket from an EBT terminal in any NSW TAB retail outlet, or via the TAB App and TAB.com.au. Ticket holders are encouraged to register their tickets online at www.thekosciuszko.com.au
14 tickets will be drawn, allowing each lucky ticket holder an entry in The Kosciuszko, and the opportunity to select a NSW and ACT country trained horse to race in their entry. The winners will then negotiate their own share of the $1.3 million winnings with their chosen horse’s owner. Racing NSW has also kindly offered to assist the winning ticket holders in identifying horses for selection.
After the excitement and surprises dished up by last year’s inaugural run, racegoers will certainly be taking note of this year’s field. Last year, punters sent the John Shelton trained Belflyer out at $71, only to have the very unlikely country hopeful take out the top spot.
The promotion draw will be held on Monday, September 9th, with tickets currently on sale until September 8th 2019.
For racing fanatics, The Kosciuszko promotion is a chance to make dreams come true – so make sure you drop by your local TAB and grab a ticket today!
