SUPER SPLIT: ARISTOCRAT’S NEW SUPERCHARGED HOLD N SPIN GAMES
Aristocrat has released two new SAP games, Super Split Wild Lion and Super Split Long Jun, for their Mars-X and Helix cabinets where Scalable Bonus Cash on Reel symbols on Reel 1 can split and duplicate. This is unique to the market and gives players greater opportunities to trigger the Hold and Spin feature.
There are four Scalable Bonus amounts in these games, the Mini, Minor, Major and Super Bonus. When these Scalable Bonus Cash on Reel symbols land they can be split into 2, 3, or 4 duplicate symbols. This allows players to trigger the Hold and Spin feature with just 2 Cash on Reels with these duplicating splits adding to the tally. The Major Jackpots can also split when they land on Reel 1.
Super Split caters to diverse player preferences and adds a fresh entertainment dimension to a Hold and Spin feature.
Denomination and Jackpot Mix
Super Split offers a versatile denomination structure, including 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c, $1, and the $2 option for NSW only. These denominations come with scalable bonuses, tailoring rewards to the player’s chosen stake.
These SAP games are available in NSW and QLD for now, with other markets to follow. Grand Jackpot startups options in NSW are $5,000 or $7,000. In QLD, there is a choice of $5,000, $8,000, or $10,000 startup options.
Base Games: Wild Lion and Long Jun
The two Super Split games, Wild Lion and Long Jun, offer distinct gameplay experiences while sharing the innovative splitting mechanic.
In Wild Lion, the Cash on Reel Scalable Bonus symbols such as the Major Jackpot, Minor Bonus, Mini Bonus, or Super Bonus landing on the active zone of Reel 1 can split into 2, 3, or 4 duplicates. This increases the likelihood of triggering the Hold and Spin feature and enhances potential rewards.
Long Jun shares this splitting mechanic but introduces an additional element. A Cash on Reel symbol with white credit amounts appearing on Reel 1 also splits into duplicate symbols. This is on top of the Scalable Bonus wins potentially splitting. This unique feature differentiates Long Jun from its counterpart, adding an extra layer of excitement for players.
Hold and Spin Feature
The Hold and Spin feature is a standout aspect of Super Split, emphasising innovation and increased player entertainment. Triggered by landing six or more Cash on Reel symbols, this feature becomes even more thrilling when split scalable bonuses (2, 3, or 4 duplicated Cash on Reel symbols) are involved. Each individual Cash on Reel symbol, including the duplicates, counts toward the 6-symbol trigger.
Symbols such as the Major Jackpot, Minor Bonus, Mini Bonus, or Super Bonus that land during the feature can also split into multiple duplicates, amplifying potential rewards.
Players can also potentially collect over 15 Cash on Reels during the feature, making for an exciting and rewarding experience.
Free Games Features
Both Wild Lion and Long Jun include free games features that capitalise on the splitting symbol mechanic.
In Super Split Wild Lion, landing three or more scatter symbols on any reel triggers the free games feature, awarding players eight free games. During these games, the Scalable Bonuses that land in an ‘active zone’ on Reel 1 and on Reel 5, can split into 2, 3, or 4 duplicates, creating heightened anticipation and opportunities for wins.
Super Split Long Jun similarly offers a free games feature triggered by three or more scatter symbols. Players are awarded five free games, with the both the Scalable Bonuses and the Cash on Reel symbols with white text awarding credit prizes, when landing in the ‘active zone’ on Reels 1 and 5 are capable of splitting into multiple duplicates.
