A.G.E. – BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER
This year’s Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) will see over 50 new exhibitors, including displays from Taiwan, South Korea, USA, Canada and New Zealand. The AGE is likewise attracting international visitors from the USA, New Zealand, Asia and Europe.
Now one of the largest trade events in Australia, the A.G.E. is also the third largest casino gaming equipment trade show in the world after ICE (London) and G2E (Las Vegas).
“2015 was a sell out and we’ve increased capacity for 2016 to keep up with exhibitor demand”, said Ross Ferrar, CEO of the Gaming Technologies Association, hosts of the Expo. “Our long term exhibitors wanted to showcase more products which required more floor space, but it has also allowed for more new exhibitors. Over 20% of exhibitors at the 2016 Australasian Gaming Expo are new exhibitors, with new products and services to offer the industry”.
The Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) is now in its 27th consecutive year and will be held at the Sydney Exhibition Centre @ Glebe Island from Tuesday 9 until Thursday 11 August. The Expo will use all four halls of the venue, a whopping 20,000 square metres, 4,400 square metres more than the previous years.
Visitors can access all the information they need via the event app, which can be downloaded from the Apple store or Google Play. The app features an interactive event floor-plan and uses beacon technology to advise of entertainment, events and more throughout the venue. You can find more information at the AGE website.
Getting there is easy too with a free ferry from Darling Harbour and complementary buses from Central Station and Pyrmont. You can jump a taxi and there’s plenty of parking available as well. More information about getting to the venue can be found on the event app or the AGE website.
