CASE STUDY: WOONONA BULLI RSL GAMING ROOM DESIGN

Capital Design Works gaming room heritage started over 30 years ago with hand-crafted Cootamundra Bases and more recently has transitioned to precise computer-controlled bases, screens and custom joinery manufacturing.

Over that 30+ years, Capital Design Works have designed floor plans and also worked with many gaming room designers and architects to create different gaming rooms. One thing they have learnt is that in every situation, the budget, room objectives, space and machine types are all different, which is why you need a very flexible approach when looking at gaming room design.

Capital Design Works often work with different gaming room designers such as Tony Donnelly from Donnelly Design. Working with designers is a little like the normal architect and builder relationship – both need to work in conjunction with the client to create a winning gaming room that works well for patrons and the club. One of their recent projects at Woonona-Bulli RSL was no exception.

WOONONA BULLI RSL

Woonona-Bulli RSL wanted to create a new high-end gaming room within their existing club facilities. The club engaged leading gaming room designer, Tony Donnelly from Donnelly Design to create a new high-end gaming room.

With Donnelly Design’s assistance, Woonona-Bulli RSL then engaged Capital Design Works to manufacture the poker machine bases, custom Joinery and screens to the budget, timeframe and exacting finishes specified.

The end result is that Woonona-Bulli RSL’s new gaming room looks spectacular and functions optimally. Woonona-Bulli RSL is a happy client who appreciates the precision manufacturing and attention to detail that ensures they have a gaming room that has brought the Donnelly Design to life and that it will have a productive life.  A gaming room that will attract and keep patrons.

Sometimes a venue will not engage their own designer and will ask Capital Design Works to create the gaming floor plan design. In these cases, Capital have floor plan designers in-house who can create a gaming room floor plan that has great patron flow, machine optimisation, private areas and all the components that we know make gaming rooms work successfully.

Whichever way a venue chooses to go – using an external gaming room designer or Capital’s floor plan designers – all the poker machine bases, privacy screens and any custom joinery is always made to Capital’s precision manufacturing standards. The furniture is also delivered within deadlines so it can be installed quickly to ensure your new gaming room is up and running promptly. They call this the Capital Difference.
