DON’T JUST STAND THERE – DO SOMETHING DAY

ClubsNSW has encouraged clubs to support ‘Do Something Day’ –  Australia’s biggest celebration of giving created by the club industry to highlight the contributions made by clubs within their communities for people and causes in need.

In 2017, hundreds of clubs, their members, community organisations and individuals rallied behind the cause, with the campaign reaching more than 5.6 million people.

The Daily & Sunday Telegraph and NewsLocal print and digital mastheads are media partners of the initiative and will help leverage club’s support for the campaign.

The campaign commences on Wednesday 27 June and concludes on ‘Do Something Day’, Wednesday 25 July, followed by a post-campaign wrap-up with highlights of club activity from the campaign.

Clubs are encouraged to support ‘Do Something Day’ by coordinating a new, or branding an existing event, activity or act of generosity under the banner of ‘Do Something Day’. For ideas based on what clubs have done before, click here.
