EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENTS KEEP COMING FOR THE 2019 AHG EXPO

It’s a calendar highlight for the food, beverage, hospitality and gaming industries in Australia – and beyond – and this year’s Keno Australasian Hospitality and Gaming Expo is gearing up to be the most exciting yet.

While there is plenty to look forward to during the two-day expo itself – but more on that in a moment – it’s the Club Plus Super AHG Breakfast that has tongues wagging. It was recently announced that global trends and marketing expert Maxwell Luthy will be taking the stage at the AHG Breakfast on Thursday March 28, and the news has seen Brisbane business owners and consumers alike rush to get tickets to the exclusive event.

As the Head of Trends & Insights and the Head of the North American office at Trend Watching – a global “trend firm” with more than 1000 trend spotters and 100,000 subscribers – Maxwell will draw on his vast knowledge and experience to share his eye-opening consumer trend predictions, specifically explaining the value of clubs in the inter-connected social communities of the future.

“I don’t say this lightly: Clubs can save the world,” Mr Luthy says. “The digital arena is a polarized and hard-to-navigate twilight zone today. The value of in-person interactions, a sense of belonging and connection to a local community is higher than ever before.”

It’s a must-attend event for any business owner hoping to better understand today’s consumers – and turn them into customers. Book your tickets here on the AHG website.

In other news, the 2019 AHG Expo has announced perhaps its most exciting door prize yet – a trip for two to Fiji, flights and accommodation included. Visitors who attend both days of the expo will go into the running to win the door prize, which includes three nights in the winners’ choice of accommodation, and two nights at the brand-new luxury Pullman Nadi Resort and Day Spa.

Situated right on relaxing Wailoaloa Beach – Fiji’s latest up and coming destination – the Pullman Nadi is just a 10-minute drive from Nadi Airport and Port Denarau, and comes complete 236 luxury rooms and suites, three swimming pools (including an ocean front, adults-only pool), four restaurants, a wedding chapel, a day spa with five individual bures, kids and teens clubs, retail shops, tennis courts and a range of water sports including jet skis and hobie cats. With everything you need right on your doorstep – including the bustling restaurant precincts of Martintar and Namaka – all you need to do is check in and chill out.

As if the chance to win a trip to paradise isn’t enough, the AHG Expo will again see the return of the popular AHG Tastes precinct, which debuted last year to an overwhelmingly positive response. This year, the only difference is that it will be 50% bigger and better than last year, meaning there will be even more opportunities to taste the latest and greatest food and beverage products and services that Australasia has to offer.

It’s all happening during AHG Expo Week, kicking off on Monday March 25 with the almost-sold out Party Bus Tours – which will take passengers behind the scenes of iconic venues like the Howard Smith Wharves, Sandstone Point Hotel, Charming Squire and on a hard hat tour of the world-class Queens Wharf Precinct – and finishing up on Thursday March 28 with the AHG Breakfast and the final day of the AHG Expo. In the midst, you can also catch the National Governance and Management Congress, which will deliver plenty of hands-on advice from innovative industry leaders like Dr Robert Kay, David McGrath, Evelyn Field OAM, Graham Bradley and Anthony Hiscox.
