FRENCHVILLE CONTINUES TRANSFORMATION WITH MAJOR DIGITAL ROLLOUT

Frenchville Continues Transformation with Major Digital Rollout

Frenchville Sports Club has continued its major transformation with the launch of Go Join, Go Dine and My Courtesy Bus from Spoke Technologies, with all three platforms going live alongside the Club’s brand new website.

The digital rollout follows the completion of Frenchville’s $25 million redevelopment, a two-year, four-stage project that transformed the Rockhampton venue with new dining, entertainment, gaming, family and function spaces.

The club now has more than 39,000 members and was recently awarded silver in the Best Club Redevelopment category at the Clubs Queensland Awards.

For CEO Damien Massingham, upgrading the Club’s digital experience was a natural next step.

“Following the significant redevelopment of Frenchville Sports Club, it was important that our digital experience progressed alongside our physical venue. Introducing Go Join, Go Dine and My Courtesy Bus has made it easier for members and guests to connect with the club, while also creating a more efficient experience for our team.”

With support from the Spoke team, Frenchville prepared and launched all three platforms and its new website simultaneously, with the rollout proceeding smoothly despite the scale of the change.

Marketing Manager Elly Willis said the early results have been encouraging.

“Launching three new platforms together required careful testing, staff preparation and coordination, but the implementation was well managed and the early results have been very encouraging.”

In June, Frenchville recorded 235 online membership transactions, compared with 37 in the same month last year. Online dining bookings grew by 29%, while 319 courtesy bus bookings were also completed online during the month.

“The Spoke team has remained responsive following the launch, helping us troubleshoot, refine the customer journey and continue improving the platforms based on how our members and guests are using them,” Willis said.

New Ground for Go Join

The Frenchville rollout represents another milestone for Go Join, Spoke’s digital membership platform, which allows members to join or renew online and receive a digital membership card that can be added directly to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

With the Frenchville rollout, Spoke has become the first technology provider to deliver integrated digital wallet capability for MAX venues in Queensland. A MAX onboarding API is also expected soon, further extending the integration and providing MAX venues with a more seamless end-to-end digital membership solution.

It follows another recent Go Join milestone at Bribie Island RSL, where Spoke completed its first fully integrated Odyssey Gaming deployment, including two-way integration between Go Join and Odyssey.

Go Dine Gathers Momentum

Frenchville is also among the early adopters of Go Dine, Spoke’s new restaurant booking platform built specifically for clubs and licensed venues.

Unlike traditional restaurant booking systems designed primarily for individual restaurants, Go Dine supports multiple dining outlets within the one venue, while linking bookings with member data and existing club systems.

Members and guests can browse different dining options, view availability across outlets and choose their preferred restaurant or dining area through a modern, visual booking experience.

The product is attracting strong interest from clubs looking for an alternative to generic restaurant reservation systems.

My Courtesy Bus Continues to Expand

The third platform launched at Frenchville, My Courtesy Bus, continues to expand nationally and is now being used by more than 30 venues across Australia, including a number of the industry’s leading clubs.

The platform moves courtesy bus bookings online while providing venues with driver tools, automated communications, route optimisation, live traffic and operational reporting.

For Frenchville, the simultaneous launch of the three platforms represents another step in a much broader transformation of the club, extending the investment made in its physical venue into the digital experience members and guests have before they arrive.

For Spoke Technologies, the rollout also demonstrates its broader approach to building hospitality technology that connects with the systems clubs already use, rather than adding another disconnected platform.
