Game of the Quarter

IGT’s PEAKCURVE49: CONSISTENT PERFORMANCE AND A GROWING PORTFOLIO OF GAMES

IGT’s PeakCurve49 cabinet is delivering strong results across Australian gaming floors, combining high player engagement with an expanding content library. Supported by proven titles such as Prosperity Link, Mystery of the Lamp, and the new Tiger & Dragon, along with a pipeline of upcoming releases including, Rising Rockets and Triple Ingot Jackpots, the IGT PeakCurve49 is quietly building positive and long-term game strength in portrait-style gaming machines.

Designed for Operational Excellence

The PeakCurve49 features a 49-inch UHD portrait display paired with IGT’s Dynamic Player LED Button Deck, creating an immersive experience that suits both standalone and banked floor configurations. The tall, seamless screen provides high visual impact without the need for external link signage, while the cabinet’s ergonomic design ensures player comfort during extended play. Its intelligent lighting system syncs with gameplay, sound, and celebration sequences.

Supporting a Strong and Expanding Game Library

Of course, all the intricacies of strong machine hardware design is great, but the requirement for good game content is of paramount importance to any gaming manager. A key strength of the PeakCurve49 is its ability to host some of IGT’s most successful global titles, adapted specifically for the Australian markets, as well as local game content, doubling the game library. This ensures that operators benefit from proven international concepts refined to meet local player preferences. While it used to be true that international games struggled in the Australian market, these days popular contemporary concepts such as Hold and Spin, Repeat Wins and Feature-in-Feature games are worldwide.

Three attributes define the cabinet’s ongoing success:

  • Access to strong global titles, localised for regional performance.
  • Large portrait-screen presentation with exclusive content.
  • A sustained commitment to new portrait content, with several titles in development and more to follow.

Market-Proven Titles Driving Results

The PeakCurve49 made its debut with Prosperity Link, with game titles that quickly achieved standout results. Its mix of free game variations, feature delivery, and random character-driven “gift awards” helped drive consistent player engagement.

Building on this, Mystery of the Lamp has been one of IGT’s strongest recent performers. Both Enchanted Palace and Treasure Oasis continue to perform over 40% above floor average, supported by a unique Hold ‘n Spin mechanic featuring three active “Pots” that multiply excitement and reward potential.

In addition, the Tiger & Dragon series has delivered excellent results, currently performing more than 50% above average. Across four unique game titles, an innovative “combining” mechanic merges adjacent cash-on-reel amounts into single, larger wins.  With arrow symbols that boost prizes, hold-and-spin action, an extended ladder-feature screen, and 243-way gameplay, this series offers a fresh, highly engaging player experience.

New Content on the Horizon

IGT’s release roadmap for the PeakCurve49 remains strong, with a series of new titles set to expand the content offering in the coming months.

“PeakCurve49 commands presence on any gaming floor.  The 49-inch full-portrait display is core to our game design, delivering a more dynamic experience that boosts engagement and drives stronger results for our partners. Since launch in Australia, PeakCurve49 has built a proven track record with successful games such as Prosperity Link, Magic Treasures, Mystery of the Lamp and most recently our global hit Tiger and Dragon. Looking ahead, we’re committed to supporting the PeakCurve49 – with high-impact titles set to deliver premium performance across ANZ including global hit Rising Rockets, Money Gong, Triple Ingot and Bandit to name a few.”

 – Matt Wright, IGT’s Director, Product Management, APAC

For operators, the PeakCurve49 represents more than just a high-performing cabinet—it’s a platform that supports long-term content delivery and consistent floor performance. With proven titles already exceeding expectations and a steady pipeline of upcoming releases, IGT continues to demonstrate its commitment to strengthening the portrait game category.
