Game of the Quarter

THE DROP TEST DRIVES IGT’S MEGA VAULT GAMES

Game Overview

Available on both PeakDual27 and PeakSlant32 cabinets, Mega Vault delivers an entertaining player experience by combining the popular Hold and Spin mechanic with true “choose your volatility” gameplay. Landing the ‘Vault Super Symbol’ in the Hold and Spin feature triggers the Mega Vault Feature – an exhilarating feature-in-feature experience, for even bigger win potential. Players can explore four engaging themes: Great Southern Land with its much-loved Aussie style, Emperor’s Guardians featuring fierce Asian warriors, Vegas Baby! capturing casino themes, and Jin Longzhou steeped in Asian tradition. A new button layout enhances the play experience, while the feature in feature action keeps players engaged.

 The Basics

Denomination: The Mega Vault games include 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c, $1 and a $2 denomination option for NSW only.

Jackpot Range:

The Mega Vault Link startup options are $10,000, $15,000 and $25,000 for both NSW and QLD, with a $20,000 and $30,000 Jackpot only available in NSW.  The SAP jackpot startups on Mega Vault Loot, are available at $6,500 and $7,500.

Mega Vault Hold and Spin Feature

The Hold and Spin feature is triggered when six or more Mega Vault symbols appear, activating a visual vault display where each triggering symbol lights up segments along the top of the vault. A nice visual detail that players will love if they are lucky and can land a Super Symbol to level up their feature.

Initially, players choose their preferred volatility level upon entering the feature with a choice of 10 free spins with all ‘coin’ and ‘vault’ wins paid as displayed (x 1), or 7 free spins with those wins x 2, or 3 free spins with those wins at x 5. Once the choice is made, players enter a classic Hold & Spin round featuring credit wins, with multipliers applied according to their volatility selection. Additional spins can be won throughout the spins, extending game play in the feature, and adding to potential credit win opportunities.

Next Level – Mega Vault Bonus Feature

If a ‘Vault’ Super Symbol appears during the free games, it unlocks the Mega Vault feature. Here, the number of original triggering Mega Vault symbols comes into play (ranging from 6 up to 9). The original trigger determines how many lights activated on the vault and now each lit section awards a random credit win to the screen, which is then multiplied by the original choice of volatility multiplier (x1, x2, or x5), offering the potential for substantial rewards.

Free games

The free games features are triggered by 3 scatters awarding 6 free games.

In Emperor’s Guardian and Vegas Baby the ‘Wilds’ will expand during the free games. For Great Southern Land and Jin Longzhou players can be awarded x2 or x5 on ‘Wilds’ line and players can also collect 6 or more Cash-On-Reels throughout the free games to trigger the Hold and Spin feature.

Market Match

This game has been designed to give higher tier players an opportunity to gain increased volatility in the feature through the ‘choose your volatility’ option. However, there is still lots of fun and entertainment for players who choose lower volatility feature choices. These games can be positioned in high traffic areas of the gaming floor or in spaces suitable for regular players.

Mega Vault delivers an interesting experience that blends popular themes with feature-in-feature gameplay designed to keep players engaged. From the moment six or more Mega Vault symbols trigger the feature, players are in control, choosing their volatility and unlocking credit wins boosted by multipliers up to x5. The interest increases with the potential for the Vault Super Symbol to unlock the Mega Vault Feature for even greater rewards, while each theme offers its own flavour of entertainment. With its feature-in-feature design, strong visual appeal, and high win potential, Mega Vault is built to captivate and reward a wide range of players.
