NEW GAMES FEATURED AT AHG EXPO
AHG Expo in March is a major release period for poker machine manufacturers with an opportunity to feature their latest machine and game offerings. Here is a short overview of what to check out if you are travelling to Brisbane this week.
New Machines
Both Aristocrat and Ainsworth are presenting new machines this month:
Aristocrat – The Baron: The new machine features an asymmetric design with edge lighting that will stand out in your gaming area. There have been significant improvements in sound, easier operational access to the machine, and a more durable button panel with a double bash button.
Ainsworth – The Raptor: Their new cabinet, The Raptor, features improved audiovisual performance and immersive surround sound. There is a new cylindrical display for player tracking and button deck with twin bash buttons.
New Games
IGT
IGT will feature the QLD release of their Fire Dragon game series.
- The four Fire Dragon games, Moon Blossom, Golden Panda, Samurai Sunset and Jade Kingdom include Hold ‘N’ Spin and Free Games features, plus players will also look for the WILD transformation in the base game, the Mega Reel Spin, and most importantly the enhancement opportunities from the ‘Fire Frame’ on the central reel in all aspects of gameplay.
- Also look for the Mystery of the Lamp series with two new games, Treasure Oasis and Enchanted Palace, that include a common Hold ‘N’ Spin feature with 3 opportunities that can be unlocked and combined.
Aristocrat
Look for the three new Link/SAP game families,
- More Chilli with 3 new games Habanero Heater, Extra Spicy, and Mas Pollo. Mas Pollo looks really fun! They include Hold & Spin and Repeat Win features.
- Cashman with 3 new games Inferno Queen, Immortal Fortune, and Tiger’s Reel. A classic game with trending Hold & Spin and Repeat Wins features.
- Lunar Cash, with 2 new games, Itsukushima and Wolf Moon. Features include Cash on Reels, Instant Wins, Hold and Spin, and Repeat Win.
Konami
- Konami will feature a new Power Panther Link with 3 new games.
- Additional games for their Bull Rush, Golden Strike, K-pow! Pig and Fortune Hearts game families.
Ainsworth
- Featuring new game families for The Raptor, including Year of the Snake, Eagle Riches, and Nugget Hunter. Dragons Treasure and Fortune Bull will be launching soon after.
Light & Wonder
- Huff N’ Even More Puff is worth checking out as it improves on a very popular player favourite.
- Lightning Gongs is based on the popular Thunder Drums games, with updated and strengthened features.
- Managers can see the new Lock ‘n More Link which will feature updated player favourites such as Eureka Reel Blast and Piggy Banking.
