One of the strongest opportunities Aristocrat has is their ability to take well-known market-leading and familiar mechanics from successful games and improve them with contemporary features. Cash Express Legend builds on one of the most recognisable, by taking the proven train feature from Cash Express Luxury Line and evolving it into a more sophisticated, multi-layered experience. With the addition of more jackpots, repeat wins and a feature-in-feature Hold and Spin, the game adds greater depth while maintaining the familiarity for players.

The Cash Express Legend family comprises three new titles: Divine Emperor, Fortune Princess and Immortal General. Each game in the series is delivered with a premium Asian-inspired art package and its own unique free game feature set with no math clones. Players also have additional jackpots to play for with the Grand Jackpot as a Link or SAP, and three mid-tier jackpots: Water Jackpot ($500), Air jackpot ($800) and the Earth Jackpot ($1500).

Exclusive to The Baron cabinet, the game family is available in standalone progressive (SAP), Link and Multilink configurations. NSW will launch first with the other jurisdictions to follow.

Hold and Spin Feature

The Hold and Spin feature, common to all the games, is triggered by landing six Cash-on-Reels and on the first level plays as a traditional Hold and Spin feature.  The added interest in these games comes through the introduction of three new coloured trains: blue, purple, green as well as the special premium gold train. These new trains act as secondary level feature triggering within the Hold and Spin feature, creating a multi-layered experience that introduces additional opportunities to increase wins and extend gameplay.

Only one of each train can be collected per feature, with each coloured train unlocking the familiar and corresponding coloured train feature.  When a player gathers trains of different colours, the feature plays for each of those trains separately, with the train carriages delivering credit prizes and scalable bonuses.

A particularly notable new feature is the Hold and Spin carriage, which introduces a 3×3 tile Hold and Spin array in the carriage.  Filling all nine positions within this matrix awards a colour-specific jackpot tied to the triggering train. Players can unlock up to three consecutive Hold and Spin carriages in a single feature, with each continuing from where the previous one concluded, with the players gaining continuity towards the Jackpot win.

When players gain the special Gold Train, instead of a standard carriage, it activates a repeat win that aggregates all Cash-on-Reels values from the feature and pays them out again. With the potential for this to occur up to five times in a single feature, it introduces a high excitement element that can boost wins for lucky players.

Legend Feature

Free Games are triggered by three scatter symbols, with the players offered a choice of a Free Games Feature, which is game dependent, or the Legend Feature.

The free games are different for each of the three titles:

• Fortune Princess – 6 free games with Wilds on Reels 2, 3 4 and 5 with a 2x multiplier
• Immortal General – 6 free games with stacked mystery door reveals on reels 2, 3, and 4 which open to reveal the same symbol
• Divine Emperor – 6 free games where a Wild substituting in a line win will be multiplied by 2x, 3x, 5x 8x, 10x or 25x.

The Legend Feature offers players a random selection of up to four of the coloured trains. The blue, purple and green trains mirror the mechanics of the core Hold and Spin feature, but with a key distinction: credit prizes accumulated during these sequences are collected and drops onto on the corresponding-coloured train on the main screen.

The Gold Train again serves as the premium mechanic, introducing a repeat-win function.  The Gold Train will play out the same way as the main feature but will repeat the value won from any of the other coloured trains.

 

Cash Express Legend exemplifies Aristocrat’s approach of evolving high performing games with more contemporary experiences.
