VIC ON THE PARK COMES TO MARKET

Yet another large format inner-western Sydney hotel in the form of Marrickville Vic on The Park is up for sale.

The multi-story freehold hotel is a landmark in the area and is being brought to market by Australian Pub Fund (APF). The group recently sold Newtown’s Marlborough Hotel to Solotel, owned by Bruce Solomon and Matt Moran.

The sale of the Vic comes at a time when east coast hospitality transactions remain fluent, few more evident than the Justin Hemmes’ led Merivale Group’s acquisition of The Collaroy early last month for $21,000,000.00.

Director of CBRE Hotels Daniel Dragicevich believes the appetite for A-grade freehold hotels, particularly in mature Sydney suburbs such as Marrickville, continues to enjoy considerable depth.

The sale is being handled by Ray White Asia Pacific Director Andrew Jolliffe and EOI close on September 28.
