RESDIARY AND QUANDOO JOIN FORCES

In a move expected to see 1.5million bookings this financial year, ResDiary and Quandoo have joined forces to provide an unprecedented integrated experience in hospitality software. From making a booking at a venue through to the staff’s management of tables the new partnership promises to deliver the most comprehensive booking system on the market.

The partnership combines ResDiary’s advanced Smart Table Management system with Quandoo’s marketplace, which connects diners with a wide range of restaurant options, expanding diner choice by over 45%. This powerful combo comes at a much-needed time in the current hospo landscape with one in 13 hospitality businesses expected to close. Mum and dad venues are set to benefit the most with increased visibility across potential customers and up to 20% more bookings.

Colin Winning, Commercial Director of Hospitality, Front of House Division at Access Hospitality, emphasised the importance of this partnership during such a crucial time for the industry. “With the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, diners are becoming more selective about where they spend their money. Our partnership with Quandoo offers venues the opportunity to reach more diners, get additional bookings and enhance their operational efficiency. By integrating ResDiary’s Smart Table Management with Quandoo’s marketplace, we’re equipping venues with the tools they need to thrive.”

Philipp Heuer, Director of Supply Strategy at Quandoo commented, “In today’s challenging landscape, providing restaurants with new opportunities to be discovered is vital. Every visitor to the Quandoo marketplace is actively looking to book a table and this partnership will help restaurants to maximise visibility and get additional bookings. Additional features, such as the ability for venues to customise their profile with menus and photos, along with diners being able to make instant reservations, means it’s even easier for customers to browse and book their next great meal out.”

Here’s a closer look at how this partnership is set to reshape the hospitality industry.

  1. Expanding Diner Choice and Rewards

Diners on the Quandoo platform will see a significant increase in choice, with venue options expanding by over 45% thanks to the addition of more than 1,100 ResDiary venues across Australia and New Zealand. In addition to this increased variety, diners can earn loyalty points through Quandoo, which can be redeemed as cashback, enhancing both the range and rewards of their dining experiences.

  1. Boosting Venue Visibility and Efficiency

For venues, this partnership is a game-changer. It combines ResDiary’s advanced Smart Table Management system with Quandoo’s marketplace, expected to increase booking rates by up to 20%. In 2023 alone, Quandoo facilitated 900,000 bookings, while ResDiary managed 480,000 bookings in ANZ. ResDiary’s automated table management system, available on mobile and tablet apps, ensures that venues can optimise operations and turn more tables efficiently. Additionally, ResDiary’s reporting functionality allows venues to track where their diners are coming from, giving them valuable insights to refine their marketing strategies.

  1. A Strategic Move Amid a Challenging Hospitality Landscape

This partnership comes at a critical time for the hospitality industry, which is grappling with the effects of the ongoing cost-of-living crisis. As diners become more selective and cautious with their spending, the combined forces of ResDiary and Quandoo offer venues a much-needed boost to help venues attract more diners and stay competitive in a challenging market.

To celebrate the launch of this partnership, ResDiary venues signing up to Quandoo will receive zero set up fee, one month free cover fees and $0 monthly integration fee for life, while Quandoo venues signing up to ResDiary will receive three months free of ResDiary and free integration.
