THE DROP TEST DRIVES IGT’S FORTUNE LINES GAME RANGE
IGT’s new games, Egyptian Storm Fortune Lines and Dynasty Treasures Fortune Lines, combine a traditional line game with a hold and respin feature. The hold and respin feature is triggered by a classic ‘5 of a kind’ line win which ensures players spend less to get into the feature. Additionally, during the feature all the lower paying symbols are removed for bigger feature wins. A popular component of IGT’s still very popular Hyper Hits game range was the prize reel on Reel 5, which has now been reversed on these games to occupy the 1st Reel, creating greater anticipation for the players and exposure to all potential wins. In Egyptian Storm 6 or more ‘pyramid’ symbols trigger the corresponding number of free games. During the free games all the lower value symbols are removed with only higher paying symbols appearing for the free spins. For Dynasty Treasures any 6 or more ‘gold ingots’ trigger the corresponding number of free games. For example, a player who achieves 8 ‘gold ingots’ on the screen is awarded 8 free games, and in this game all symbols remain in play.
The Hold and Respin feature is triggered when an overlaid ‘Major’, ‘Minor’, ‘Mini’ or ‘gold’ ring occurs in any ‘5 of a kind’ line win. All the symbols in the line win transform into gold coins and are held for 3 respins. Any additional gold coins are held and the respin counter is reset to 3. A very familiar concept for players During this feature all the prize values, or Minor and Mini jackpots are multiplied by the credits bet per line so higher-level players are awarded higher potential wins.
