A BEGINNERS GUIDE TO THE AGE

The Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) is the largest, most comprehensive, and longest-running Gaming and Hospitality tradeshow in Australia.

The AGE covers 19,000 square metres of exhibition space, and that means a lot of walking. If you’re serious about getting the most out of your attendance, you may need more than one day to get around the exhibition floor and its 200+ exhibitors. If you plan to fit your time at the AGE into one day, then plan your visit before you go so that you get enough time with the suppliers that matter to you.

Know your existing suppliers. The AGE is not only a great way to source new services and suppliers, but it’s the ideal opportunity to get to know your current suppliers and equipment better. AGE allows you to get your questions answered face to face, and away from your busy workplace, developing better relationships with the businesses that already have a stake in your success.

The AGE is not just an expo it also hosts seminars and workshops. AGE seminar sessions are complimentary to attend. With excellent educational content and topics including gaming regulation, the future of gaming, customer behaviour and hospitality innovation, you’ll find informative content that you can bring back to your venue and put in to use immediately.

Focused on reducing its environmental impact the AGE has introduced water refill stations across the show floor, providing filtered water for AGE delegates, and helping to reduce the use of single-use plastic. Please bring your water bottle and refill it as required to minimise both your impact on the environment and your wallet (why is water more expensive than petrol?). Learn more about innovations in sustainability and waste management at the AGE.

Registered attendees will receive an invitation before the event to download the AGE mobile app. You can use the app to research and make appointments with key suppliers and keep track of seminars and workshops that you are registered for so that you make the most of your time at the AGE. If apps are not your thing, then you can still find out everything you need to know from the event website and grab your event guide at the venue.

Located at ICC Sydney, in the heart of Sydney’s Darling Harbour precinct, the AGE is easily accessible by public transport. Parking is available at the venue at a cost. Check out the venue’s website for more information.

The AGE is open from 10 am to 5 pm Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 August, and from 10 am to 3 pm on Thursday 13 August. Visit the official website at https://austgamingexpo.com to find out more information.
