ARISTOCRAT GETS EXTRA SPICY WITH MORE CHILLI
In a market where familiarity and innovation must combine, the popular More Chilli brand makes a return with three new games: Habanero Heater, Extra Spicy, and Mas Pollo. The More Chilli Link games are the second launch game family for Aristocrat’s The Baron cabinet.
The new game line-up builds on the legacy of the original More Chilli brand, delivering recognisable characters and volatility in a Hold & Spin feature using the iconic 4-window format of the original game. The addition of a repeat win is perfect for keeping regular players engaged and increasing game volatility. Each game title also introduces a distinct personality: the classic moustachioed More Chilli character returns in Habanero Heater, joined by a female protagonist in Extra Spicy and a chaotic wild chicken in Mas Pollo – expanding appeal across demographics while staying true to the colourful and cheeky tone players enjoy.
Hold & Spin
While the games remain true to the iconic 4-window multi-reel feature display there is a twist, with a Hold & Spin and Repeat Win mechanic. Players need to trigger the Hold & Spin with 6 Cash-on-Reel symbols. Players aim to collect enough Cash-on-Reel symbols in the first screen to unlock each of the four screens. Throughout the feature the players are trying to collect as many of the gold Cash-on-Reels as possible.
In the 3rd and 4th screens players can land ‘Chilli Guns’ that accumulate, in a repeat win, all of the Cash-on-Reel amounts into the top screen win meter. At the end, the ‘Chilli Guns’ then convert to an additional Gold Cash-on-Reel symbol, that will contribute to the next ‘Chilli Gun’ Repeat Win. The repeat wins overcome the potential for lower values players could gain because of the increased windows, and adds additional volatility for the high denomination players.
Free games
The free games in all three More Chilli games are triggered by three left-to-right scatters with unique free game play.
Habanero Heater awards 6 free games with “Sticky Ghost Wilds”. The Wilds are translucent, and when they land on a position they stick for the rest of the feature, but players are still able to land Cash-on-Reel symbols and Scatters beneath the Wilds. This means they don’t act as blockers, stopping players from gaining more features.
Extra Spicy awards 5 free games and during the free games players can land Gold and Green Doors. Gold Doors reveal a symbol and then becomes sticky, remaining in place during the feature. All doors, both the Gold and regular Green Doors, reveal the same symbol which can include a Wild, or a Cash-on-Reel. As players gain more doors, they can potentially trigger the Hold & Spin feature.
Mas Pollo awards 6 free games and also includes “Sticky Ghost Wilds”, but with a x2 compounding multiplier which lifts the opportunity for larger wins.
