DON’T FORGET GAMING VARIETY

Most of us realise that Aristocrat have a number of great games at the moment but an analysis of the Top 1c games in NSW suggests we need to keep an eye on game variety too. If we just investigate the top 50 games in NSW it is clear that Aristocrat’s new Lightning Cash and Players Choice range of games mostly fill 50% of that group and their games are working well in all sizes of clubs and hotels across NSW.[private]

  • It is important to note that Ainsworth still has a good number of these Top 50 1 cent games (25%) and they continue to perform very well with their Triple Shot, Quad Shot and multigames among the favorites’ in many venues.
  • IGT and Scientific Games (SHFL/Bally/WMS) are due to launch a new product line at the AGE Show in August/Sept and they have been dropping on the rankings recently. They will both be holding back their best games in development ready for the release of new machines so watch for their new game performance to lift again once the new machines are released.
  • To meet a wide market (particularly in clubs) you need a wide variety of games. As well as getting the top games on your floor, don’t forget that your smaller manufacturers (particularly Aruze and Konami) have games that appeal to the smaller regular player and you need to ensure these are freshened up every now and then too.
