GTA APPOINTS TAMARA WIBBERLEY AS SALES AND ADMINISTRATION COORDINATOR

GTA is delighted to announce the appointment of Tamara Wibberley as the association’s new Sales and Administration Coordinator.

CEO Jinesh Patel said that Wibberley had been appointed to the new role after an extensive search and competitive selection process.

“Tamara is an outstanding choice, bringing a wealth of experience from an association and industry background,” he said.

GTA is the owner and organiser of the Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE), the nation’s largest hospitality trade show held in Sydney earlier this month. This new appointment reflects the growth and interest the AGE has gathered in the past few years.

Patel said that Tamara’s experience and background in the industry are essential to GTA’s growth strategy for the AGE.

Tamara comes to the Gaming Technologies Association with over 23 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Before commencing the new position with GTA, Tamara was the Key Partnerships Manager for Clubs Queensland, where she was responsible for sponsorship and business development for the association and the sales and sponsorship for AHG.

Prior to joining Clubs Queensland, Tamara held various management positions in the hospitality industry and specialised in gaming and sales. She has a Bachelor of Science degree that she earned in the USA, where she attended a Texas College on a tennis scholarship.

Patel recognised that the AGE did not become the industry’s leading event without a strong team already behind it.

“The GTA would like to thank Judy Rayner, the AGE’s sales agent since its inaugural event in 1990. Judy has sold the show tirelessly for 34 years, and we wish her all the best and thank her for her contribution to the event over all these years,” said Patel.
