PARTNERING UNDERLINES PAYNTER DIXON’S 110-YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Over the years, Paynter Dixon has become synonymous with the club sector. In celebrating 110 years, the family-owned company is taking stock of this legacy while looking to the future.

Back in the 1930s, the company built countless pubs in Sydney on the behest of major brewer and asset owner, Tooth and Co.

Groundbreaking design concepts transformed the club sector following the Boyd family’s acquisition of Paynter Dixon in the mid-80s. Tours of the US provided the inspiration for service diversification, integrating hospitality, gaming, entertainment, accommodation and recreational facilities into new club venues.

Today, James Boyd leads a business that offers the best of both worlds – stability and innovation within a trusted partnership.

“How it all fits together – to source ideas from other areas and practically apply them within the Australian market is one of the things we love about Paynter Dixon,” says Morgan Stewart, CEO of Workers Lifestyle Group.
