PANTHERS PULLMAN OPENING SOON

The Panthers Group’s world class five-star hotel and events precinct is nearing completion and due to open in August. The deal allows Panthers, partnering with the accommodation brand Accor, to bring the first 5-star hotel to Penrith.

The 153 room Pullman Sydney Penrith Hotel and adjoining 1,250 sqm Western Sydney Conference Centre (WSCC) will open in August and includes a fine dining restaurant and bar with private dining rooms, and ground- floor café. The WSCC will showcase engaging exhibitions, trade shows, seminars, workshops, gala dinners and seated functions for up to 1,000 people. The conference centre will also offer 1000 additional underground parking spaces.

Both the hotel and conference centre are a $110 million building construction phase, that forms part of a larger redevelopment plan at the 60ha Penrith Panthers hospitality, sports and entertainment precinct on Mulgoa Road.

Panthers CEO Brian Fletcher recently told the The Australian Financial Review, “The idea behind this precinct and the new hotel and convention centre is to build a little city around a big club,”

“We have 11 restaurants in and around the club, there will be a new stadium across the road by 2025, and the Western Sydney airport [opening in 2026] is just 20 minutes away.

“There are no other five-star hotel facilities in the area.”
