DOOLEYS BAR AND GRILL LIDCOMBE BACK ON THE MENU

After a successful relocation project, DOOLEYS popular Bar and Grill concept is back on the menu with a new location in the heart of DOOLEYS Lidcombe.

Proven to be a successful quality dining experience at the clubs former Silverwater site, Bar and Grill Lidcombe has opened its doors on the ground floor of DOOLEYS flagship hospitality and entertainment destination, DOOLEYS Lidcombe Catholic Club.

Offering a contemporary dining experience with a welcoming feel, Bar and Grill Lidcombe sets itself a part as a modern dining destination in Western Sydney with the freshest sustainable produce and finest service, proving to be the perfect recipe for any memorable occasion.

Diners will enjoy the instant comfort of an intimate 85-seater restaurant, which includes an elevated 30-seater private dining space, catered with audio-visual essentials, and paired with an uncomprising menu.

The seasonal menu is unpretentious, with perfectly grilled meats and seafood from the very best Australian suppliers in the market. There is a deliberate emphasis on excellent produce and house-made dishes balanced with quality meats, the freshest seafood, and tempting starters.

With over 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, having revamped and launched several restaurants and bars, DOOLEYS Food & Beverage Manager, Gaby Tannous, has led the DOOLEYS team in sourcing top-quality produce from world renowned suppliers.

“When selecting our produce, a rigorous process was followed with comparisons made amongst some of the best Australian suppliers. The team selected a Westholme Wagyu Rump MBS 4 to 5, from the vast ranges of Northern Australia, while at the top end a Jacks Creek Black Angus Scotch Fillet was selected for its exceptional eating quality and big flavour,” said Mr Tannous.

Fresh Sydney Rock Oysters also feature and are sourced from estuaries on the Sapphire Coast, including Wapengo, Pambula and Merimbula. The respected Fabbrica pastas also appear on the menu, with only the freshest pasta worthy of inclusion.

“We want it to be special, and for people to want to come back often,” said Mr Tannous.

Aimed at appealing not only to the local market but food enthusiasts alike, the Bar and Grill Lidcombe menu has also been curated by the deft hand of DOOLEYS Lidcombe Catholic Club Head Chef, Adrian Hofman, who as a chef of 30 years, has skillfully collaborated with the DOOLEYS culinary team to transform the menu to suit almost any special occasion.

The appealing menu includes top-quality entres including Hawkesbury River loligo squid, Vanella Burrata with prosciutto, to mains of Fabbrica fresh egg casarecce with South Australian prawns, and 300g Westholme wagyu rump, or a crispy skin Coral Coast barramundi with salsa verde and ratatouille.

For those seeking an intimate shared plate the menu includes a Riverine, 120-day grain fed 800g Rib Eye or a perfectly roasted whole Bannockburn Chicken with polenta, brussel sprouts and tarragon vinaigrette.

Familiar favourites also feature, albeit elevated, including Caesar salad with smoked free-range chicken breast or a Wagyu Beef Burger on Sonoma sesame milk bun.

Bar and Grill Lidcombe’s wine list continues the elevated experience with diners spoiled for choice with award winning wines including organic and vegan varieties and drops from boutique wineries. The Reserve list also features wines designed for sharing to celebrate a special occasion, business milestone or casual gathering.

“We aim to attract and cater to several audiences, be it an intimate venue for couples or a popular destination for families looking for that elevated experience for any special celebration,” said Mr Tannous.

Bar and Grill Lidcombe’s menu will impress and is easily accessible on the ground floor of DOOLEYS Lidcombe Catholic Club.
