Country Club Managers’ Conference
Tuesday 7th to Thursday 9th May 2024 at Bathurst RSL Club
Each year the popular Country Club Managers’ Conference is booked out with hundreds of managers attending. Operating clubs in country towns is a unique experience with a range of difficulties not experienced elsewhere, and regional managers have earned their opportunity to discuss their challenges, and to gain expert insights into resolving their specific issues.
In this 10th year managers from regional areas will head to Bathurst RSL from 7-9 May.
The Conference program features an array of topical & interactive sessions that will assist club managers with insights & strategies to be able to better cope with the challenges that face them including:
- Keynote Speaker: Jackie Furey – From bedroom to boardroom – it’s all about performance! Jackie discusses how to keep your energy for what really matters.
- Warren Tapp moderates a panel session – The CEO as the Company Secretary & the Do’s & Don’ts of conducting board meetings. Ongoing governance issues in clubs leads us again to the relationship between the CEO & the Board
- Café Design – This session will highlight café design trends, café friendly kitchen equipment, café food menu styling & café service style.
- Digital Marketing & Club Promotion Trends – how to better engage & retain & entertain customers so that visitation & spend is not affected as a result of the AEMP rationalisation.
- Special gaming sessions with a regional focus.
