LED DISPLAY SOLUTIONS GIVE NELSON BAY BOWLING CLUB A VISUAL UPGRADE
Nelson Bay Bowling Club wanted to give the premises a facelift. They wanted to do an upgrade that would completely transform the customer experience by creating a massive visual feature.
To achieve the upgrade LED Display Solutions designing and installed:
- A 3.9 m x 1.2 curved find pitch screen in their general area.
- A 3.5 m x 3 m highly transparent screen in the gaming area.
This was a tricky job for two reasons:
- The wall, where the curved screen was to be located, was difficult to measure and create a template similar to the curvature of the existing wall.
- The transparent screen was in front of the gaming area and protruded into the ceiling and needed some design work to make the existing ceiling look, modern, yet incorporate the screen.
Experts at solving LED display problems
To solve these issues LED Display Solutions, designed and installed a curved 1.8 mm fine pitch screen on the existing curve wall and achieved a great looking screen with multiple inputs. These multiple inputs allowed the split screen to display both Foxtel and advertising at the same time giving the wow factor the club wanted.
The second issue was solved by hanging the screen from the ceiling cavity and filling in the spaces between the existing posts that were located either side of the entrance to the gaming area.
Nelson Bay Bowling Club needed the screens to be connected so that all the content could flow seamlessly across the LED displays through a single video processor. The club used an auxiliary video sources input dispenser along with their in-house content.
They are proposing to do more screens in the coming year and further upgrade their video processor. The club has significantly improved the customer experience giving patrons another reason to come through the doors for years to come.
