MILLIONS OF REASONS TO LOVE KENO IN 2018

What a year 2017 was for Keno – and 2018 is looking just as good.

Keno reached new heights in 2017, giving away $893 million in cash prizes – an average of $74 million each month.

During what was one of Keno’s most successful years, Keno paid $111 million in commissions, gained one million more customers, sold 102 million tickets, and made 27 millionaires.

Victorian Keno players had new ways to play in 2017 thanks to the launch of the Heads or Tails Margins game, while 2018 promises to be even more exciting for Sunshine State players with the unveiling of Keno’s new Mega Millions game, which offers players a chance to win $5 million for just $2.

Clubs revelled in the jackpot glory last year, with millions of dollars’ worth of cash prizes won by members and visitors.

Topping the list of big club jackpots were Caringbah RSL ($5.6 million) and Revesby Workers ($5.1 million), who gave away the first ever Keno Mega Millions jackpots in New South Wales.

Other NSW clubs to give away more than a million were Narooma Sporting and Services ($1 million), North Ryde RSL ($2.3 million), Macksville Ex-Services ($2.5 million), Wests Nelson Bay ($1 million), Moruya Bowls ($1.2 million), Merimbula RSL ($1.5 million and $2.3 million),

The big club jackpots for Queensland were Club Southport ($1 million), Gallopers Sports ($1.5 million), Rockhampton Leagues ($2 million), Cowboys Leagues ($1.6 million), and Nambour RSL ($1.1 million).

Victorian clubs Melton Country Club ($1.5 million) and Noble Park Football Club ($2.3 million) also joined the millionaires league.

“We couldn’t be prouder of how far Keno has come in the past 12 months, and we’re excited by the challenge of continuing to enhance our product range and grow our customer base and sales in 2018 and beyond, said Keno’s National Partnerships Manager Dave Dicker.
