NOT LONG NOW: THE AHG EXPO RETURNS IN MARCH
As one of the hospitality and gaming industry’s premier events, the AHG Expo has seen world-first product launches, hosted headline-making sports competitions and facilitated more new business partnerships than one could count.
The 2023 event alone was one for the history books. It saw Expo’s first live cocktail competition (hosted in partnership with Diageo) as well as its largest ever door prize – a 12-day USA trip valued at over $8,000.
So, it’s hardly a surprise that the 2023 AHG Expo also drew a record number of visitors. From general managers and CEOs to gaming managers and accountants, every level and facet of the hospitality and gaming industry was represented on the showroom floor – to the delight of exhibitors.
“It was heaving. We’ve been able to get a foot in the door with people who are higher up in their organisations,” said one exhibitor. “The audience is people of influence – the people who are usually unapproachable or unavailable to us.”
And, with year-on-year growth, the AHG Expo team predicts the 2024 event will be even bigger.

The AHG Congress | Tuesday March 19
Before all the fun of the AHG Expo itself comes the AHG Congress. Formerly known as the National Governance and Management Congress, this one-day event (taking place Tuesday March 19 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre) sees keynote speakers take the state to discuss the hot topics facing the industry. Tickets are $165 per person and are on sale now on the AHG Expo website.
The AHG Expo | Wednesday March 20 and Thursday March 21
The two-day AHG Expo – taking place on Wednesday March 20 and Thursday March 21 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre – is the undisputed main event. A showcase of the latest and greatest products, services and technology, AHG Expo is a place to reconnect with old friends, create new business partnerships and discover the innovations that will take your business to the next level.
This is especially true of the AHG Tastes precinct. First launched in 2018 following a study that found the main reason people visit a pub or club is to enjoy a meal, AHG Tastes quickly became a place for visitors to meet up, hang out and taste the best our industry has to offer.
The AHG Cocktail Party | Wednesday March 20
What better way to celebrate the conclusion of Day One of the AHG Expo than the AHG Cocktail Party? Held on the showroom floor at 4pm, the cocktail party brings exhibitors and visitors together – over a few glasses of bubbles, of course – to catch up, rub shoulders and connect with likeminded industry members.
