NEW CMAA INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS APPOINTMENT
Members are advised that the Association’s IR advocacy function will be bolstered by the appointment of Peta Imber to the newly created IR Compliance Advisor role from 2017.
Peta will be of great assistance to Senior Industrial Advocate Peter Cooper and Federal Secretary Allan Peter in helping members with enquiries, creating and updating individual Flexible Service Agreements, providing training and development within the IR context and more.
Ralph Kober Executive Officer of the CMAA advised ‘ the Federal Executive and Management have determined after the recent formal triannual Strategic Planning meeting recently that a priority for the Association going forward is to build on the resources within the IR area. Members expect the Association to be there for them with advice and representation as quickly as possible and Peta’s appointment to the role will assure members they will receive an improved service for their needs.’
Peta is ideally qualified to perform this new role as a former club manager having served in senior positions with Rooty Hill RSL, Penrith RSL and other clubs.
Peta holds a Master in Marketing degree, a Bachelor of Business/Commerce degree and is currently studying a dual MBA/Master of Human Resource Management degree.
