What is your biggest or has been your biggest challenge with the club and your role?
Re-opening a club that was closed for 12 months. Basically, building a brand new business from the ground up.
On the 20th December 2013, we didn’t even have a license so we couldn’t even buy stock. We re-opened on the 26th of December 2013.

What have been some of your achievements or highlights since being at the club?
Developing a cultural change from old bowling club to a vibrant community-oriented club with a focus on food, entertainment, families and community inclusion.

Is there a piece of advice or something compelling you have learnt that you can pass on to our readers and up and coming managers?
You have to have a fair bit of entrepreneur in you, always think outside the square.
